Exclusive news about Bin Laden’s revenge on Europe (SATIRE)

The German news magazine Spiegel found out that Osama’s Revenge on Europe will look much uglier than most of us thought. US intelligence reported that Al Quaida is planning to make heavy use of caricatures themselves in the future. Two of them seemingly leaked through unknown sources. - And the blasphemic content is sure to shock the western wold.

BANFF Mountain Film Festival International Tour

The BANFF Mountain Film Festival is coming to Germany. I remember it was in Australia two year ago and I was quite upset that I missed out on it. This time I will definitely go to Cologne and have a look. (The Globetrotter Store, where it will take place, is worth a visit anyway) The trailer is absolutely awesome - although there are some shots that look very painful. Well let’s hope no one was seriuously harmed.

Since I’m a climber myself I’m especially looking forward to Chris Sharma’s “King Lines”. I read a bit about it in a climbing magazine and it sounds like it must be really great.

Germanwings

Germanwings is offering something called Blind Booking now. That means you choose when you wanna go and pay and they will tell you later where you will be going. Great Idea I think.

Welcome to paperguitar.com

Some people say if you can imagine something it most likely already is out there in the web. Today I stumbled over this site dealing with paper guitars. So if you can’t own a stratocaster - now you can at least built your own one with paper. The site provides printable cutting templates for any guitar they have. (Most popular one is the Gretsch White Falcon)

Another MTV Artbreak playing around with shadows

Have you ever seen the way shadows jump around on the wall when the sunlight comes through leaves in a tree? I was rather fascinated when I really recognized this for the first time. So I recorded a couple of shots and later put it together to a rather arty and meditative art break (Unfortunately it didn’t make it to MTV) However I think the effect is really fascinating. Everything you see in the clip is played in real time - it’s just several layer stacked.
